I had heard good things about this China King on Belvedere as opposed to the China King that I usually go to out in Royal Palm, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the honey garlic chicken combo. It comes with pork fried rice and an egg roll. The sauce for the chicken was more of just a honey sauce, I didn't taste any garlic, but the chicken was hot and fresh and the rice was good. I also enjoyed the egg roll. Prices are inexpensive for the amount of food as well. My combo was only $7.50. I will definitely be returning

This is the best Chinese in town. Yes, it's in a strip mall in front of the evil WalMart, but a great owner and excellent food. Tip: try the Singapore Noodles. Man, they rock. It's our family's favorite dish. Enjoy.

Great value! We absolutely love this restaurant! We've lived across the street for years and until now, had been judging this book by its cover: it's nothing to look at: from the outside it looks like your average Chinese fast-food restaurant; inside too there's no "ambiance" - it's a box with some tables. But the food: consistently fabulous! In the last 3 weeks we've picked up take-out 4 times and are still impressed every time. And the prices are VERY reasonable. We've been getting the house special soup which is a great mix of fresh seafood and veggies in a clear broth; the egg rolls are always light, fresh, crispy and delicious. The meat egg roll is great but order them early bc they're apparently v. popular and they tend to run out of them. My fav is the shrimp egg roll tho. All the dishes on the menu come out fresh, hot and delicious: not too salty, not too spicy, veggies still crisp. If the folks behind the counter aren't quite as chipper and gracious like at Chop's or 52 or Ruth's, I cut them a LOT of slack: they're working REALLY hard to churn out lots of really good food for not a lot of $! That's the definition of a good value and that's what we should all be looking for! Don't miss this one, for SURE!

Food is great and service is great but I found metal pieces of the scrubber in the rice :S. I was like eating and found it in my mouth! Some New Yorker told me it's normal - lol

Decided to try China King for the first time. I had the chicken with broccoli and my friend had the schezuan shrimp... Both were excellent dishes. The shrimp was spicy and flavorful. Really glad I came here. I'll be coming back again

Very nice people, dirt cheap prices but the food was horrendous. I ordered fried rice... Tasted like cardboard, chow mien was awful. Don't go here for the food unless u are on an extremely low budget and that's all u can afford. You have been warned.

Yuck..I Ask how long it would take to make two measly Egg rolls..was told five minutes so I sat in my car and waited five minutes...went in to pick them up but they hadn't even started cooking them. Waited at counter while while girl at counter cooked them and then took them to my car to eat and guess what they were just lukewarm and tasted stale. Gross. Threw them out. So much for my lunch break.

For this type of small no frills restaurant, take out it is Surprisingly good. While there are tables you must order from the counter. We had the special shrimp and scallop with garlic sauce, easy on the hot spice. It was delicious. We also had the pork with mushroom sauce which was also very good. Even the wonton soup was stuffed with tons of wontons which were excellent. While there are a lot of chefs specials there are also many half size and price dishes. Love that. Great prices and food. We had used another take out closer to us and were always so disappointed. China King is a great neighborhood asset.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
